I value my patients’ needs and concerns as paramount to effective treatment. You should feel cared for and listened to. This individualized focus, combined with state of the art technologies and an integrative approach, will lead to the best results.

My approach is more than just handing out a quick prescription. I believe healthy skin is the reflection of a healthy and happy mind and body, and I will try my best to get you there! I encourage patients who wish to use complementary approaches to skin wellness, whether these be dietary modifications, supplements, homeopathy, Chinese medicine, or Ayurveda.

In addition to my private practice, I am also assistant clinical professor of dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital. You may recognize me from my appearances as a health and wellness expert online, in print media, and on television, including several appearances on “The Dr. Oz Show.”

I received my medical degree from NYU School of Medicine. I completed one year of clinical training in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and three years of dermatology training at Albert Einstein School of Medicine, where I was chief resident. In addition, I completed advanced fellowship training in Melanoma and Pigmented Lesions at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. In 2010, I studied integrative medicine at the Continuum Center for Health and Healing, Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, and have continued studying Integrative Medicine on my own since.

I received my undergraduate degree from Princeton University, graduating magna cum laude with a BA in Romance Languages and Literature. Other professional affiliations include fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

My media experience includes several appearances on “The Dr. Oz Show,” “The Meredith Vieira Show”, and the “The Today Show” and educational videos for Women’s Health, Parents magazine, and the online channel Howcast. I was recently featured as a Beauty Innovator for Women’s Health magazine for my holistic approach to dermatology. I have been quoted in a wide range of health, beauty, and wellness print publications such as InStyle, Elle, Cosmopolitan, Women’s Health, Dr. Oz’s The Good Life, Natural Health, and Men’s Health, as well as several online publications including Vogue.

SYDNEY KARP, MMS PA-C

Board Certified Physician Assistant

Sydney Karp, MMS PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant licensed to practice medicine in the state of New York. She graduated from Pace University Lenox-Hill Physician Assistant Program in downtown Manhattan and was honored to become a member of the Pi Alpha Honor Society. Sydney completed her training through clinical rotations among various private practice offices in NYC, as well as academic hospitals. Prior to receiving her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies, Sydney graduated Summa Cum Laude from Syracuse University with a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition.

Sydney is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the Society of Dermatologic Physician Assistants.

Sydney is a passionate and motivated clinician who truly believes that listening to a patient’s concerns is the most important part of her practice. She has experience in treating a variety of dermatological medical conditions as well as cosmetics such as Botox, fillers, lasers, and chemical peels. She strives to help others feel confident about themselves and their skin, both inside and out!

ANGELICA BENNETT

Medical Esthetician/CMA

Since 2014 Angie has worked side by side with Dr. Fishman assisting her in various procedures while concurrently pursuing an Aesthetician’s degree from the Aveda Institute in New York where she graduated first in her class.

Her knowledge, enthusiasm, spirit of collaboration, exceptional work ethic and professional demeanor are a huge asset to the practice’s aesthetic offering.  We are proud of her service to our country as a Marine serving in Operation Enduring Freedom; Afghanistan. 

In her role as Aesthetician, Angie performs Facials for all skin types and conditions, Perfect 10 Peels, and Pellevé Radiofrequency for skin tightening.
